Angela Piccolo. "Through Our Eyes: Inclusive Design as Visually Impaired Users." MDes Thesis, University of Washington, 2019.

This thesis will explore the potential to design pedestrian wayfinding systems for those with visual impairments, to improve current systems to be effective for a wider audience. The current standard for pedestrian wayfinding is visually reliant and limits the possibility of using our other senses to navigate complex and unique environments.
