"Through photos and physical objects, my work focuses on the bittersweetness of the passage of time and the nostalgic quality of that feeling. While sentimentality can be soft and beautiful, it can also be a little scary to think about how things aren’t the same. By re-imagining these ideas in a tactile way, I am able to build upon the images that I take. Through my practice, I capture my relationships with people, places and time, and how seeing those relationships change can be dreamy while also uncomfortable."
