UW School of Art + Art History + Design scholarships celebrate and honor students who demonstrate academic achievement, creative excellence, outstanding performance, and financial need in the School and at the University of Washington. Over $200,000 in awards and scholarships support School of Art + Art History + Design undergraduates. More than 30 scholarships ranging from $1000 to $5000 are awarded each year.

Current Majors
Presented in autumn, these scholarship awards honor current art, art history, and design majors who demonstrate academic achievement, creative excellence, outstanding performance, and financial need in the School and at the University of Washington. If you are an undergraduate art, art history or design major returning in Autumn for at least two full-time quarters, you are eligible to apply.

| Undergraduate Art Scholarships | Undergraduate Art major who will be full-time for at least two quarters of the 2025-26 academic year and will not be graduating before winter 2026 | Eligible undergraduate art majors who apply will be considered for various scholarships, some are for all majors while others are offered according to the student's concentration in 3D4M, Photo/Media, or Painting + Drawing. Most scholarships are offered in the amount of $1500, $2,000, $3,000, $4,000 or $5000 |
