Sand Point Studios + Gallery

Building 5, Bay C, became one of the School's facilities in 2003. The Sand Point Studios + Gallery houses studios for Painting + Drawing graduate students and faculty. It also has a gallery space and flex spaces for special projects and studios for other School faculty.

Painting + Drawing Graduate Studios

Graduate students are each provided with a studio, and they have 24-hour access to many of the facilities needed for their work.

Tech + Equipment

Woodshop

The woodshop is open to graduate students and with the following equipment available: Table saw, band saw, miter saw, drill press, belt and disc sanders and miscellaneous hand tools including pneumatic nail guns. 

Computer Lab

This lab can be used to work on digital projects with the same suite of software tools found in all School computing labs. Available equipment includes two Apple 27in iMacs, a MacBook Pro (available for check out as well), a black and white laser printer, an Epson inkjet, and flatbed and slide scanners.

Equipment Responsibility

Students are responsible for repair or replacement costs related to damage, theft, or loss of all equipment checked out. This includes digital cameras and digital video cameras. Please be careful with these devices so that they continue to be available for use.
