In the second half of May 2014, two Division of Design alumni—Melanie Wang and Maurice Woods—had interviews published. Incoming School of Art + Art History + Design Director Jamie Walker is pleased to announce that Scott Lawrimore has been named the first Director of the Jacob Lawrence Gallery, effective 01 July 2014. Please read the full press release here.
Lawrimore is well known in the Seattle arts community and beyond. He is taking on an upgraded and re-imagined position at the helm of The Jake, which will be a pivotal role in the School.
