One current MDes student, Catherine Lim, and two 2015 BDes graduates—Jennifer Cheng and Tyler Sinclair Monteferrante—won a 2015 Ideas that Matter grant from Sappi North America. The Jacob Lawrence Gallery is hosting an exhibition by Division of Design Assistant Professor Tad Hirsch from September 22 – October 17, 2015. The University of Washington School of Art + Art History + Design will be creating a new website in partnership with the College of Arts & Sciences Department Web Framework team. Preliminary work on the new website will begin in summer 2015, and the site will likely debut in summer 2016.
