Analyzes materials used in mass-produced products, focusing on how these materials impact product design and on finishing quality of products. Emphasizes materials research and manufacturing processes. Team-based research with multi-media report-out at end of quarter. Prerequisite: DESIGN 211; DESIGN 212.
