The Corning Museum of Glass published New Glass Review 36 in May 2015. This publication is the result of an annual competition, with this issue representing the works selected from 2014. 3D4M Professors Amie McNeel and Mark Zirpel are each included as is 3D4M MFA student Anna Mlasowsky. The University of Washington School of Art + Art History + Design will be creating a new website in partnership with the College of Arts & Sciences Department Web Framework team. Preliminary work on the new website will begin in summer 2015, and the site will likely debut in summer 2016. Ellen Dick
The Center for Craft, Creativity & Design in Asheville, NC, announced the winners of the 2015 Windgate Fellowship Awards on April 24, 2015. Among the recipients is Ellen Dick, a student from our 3D4M: ceramics + glass + sculpture Program, who will graduate in June. At $15,000, this is one of the largest awards in the nation given to art students.There were 115 applicants this year, and only ten were chosen.
